Joe “Joefis” Brennan
Joe is the CEO and Founder of Joefis Racing. Joe has been into cars and anything with motor since he could walk. Before he could drive, Joe was riding and racing quads or working with his family on their car projects. Once he was able to drive, Joe naturally gravitated toward racing cars himself, competing around the PA, NJ and NY in quarter-mile races (often with his partner in crime, Hugger).
Joe went on to attend UTI and became one of the top Audi techs and advisors, giving him the opportunity to travel to Europe and be one of the first to see the new Audi releases.
When Joe is not racing or thinking about racing, he is spending time with his wife and two puppies, watching his Mets or Packers, or you catch him hiking or snowboarding around his home in Colorado.
Charley “Chucklesworth” Koulik
Charley began autocrossing his senior year of high school, around the same time he was working on his first build, a turbo Neon. Charley met Joe at one of the Sports Cars Club of America (SCCA) events, and found they had a mutual interest in racing. They decided to join forces and work together to build a Miata with a fully custom wide body kit in SSM class. The pair have been performing at autocross events throughout the country over the course of 9 years.
One of Charley’s best accomplishments in SCCA was First place in PAX 2012 Dixie National Tour. Charley has since moved away from the racing aspect of his company, and is now focused on developing custom products and identifying new opportunities for growth.
When Charley is not racing or building something, he enjoys spending time with his family or snacking on peanut butter, jelly and potato chip sandwiches.
Tony “Big Tone” Brennan
Tony is an evil genius who brings over 40 years of technical experience and is well versed in everything from high end interior work, custom fiberglass work, extreme stereo and enclosure applications, to limos and chopped tops, suspension, body mods and suicide doors on custom street mods.
Basically if you can dream it Tony can build it. Tony started out customizing cars in Brooklyn four decades ago. He has done everything from engine work to adding tvs or creating small cars into stretch limos.
Now, Tony uses his 100 years of experience to design, prototype, and fabricate anything anyone can imagine.
When Tony is not concocting something crazy, he loves spending time with his family and friends.
Ali “GT 500” Paris-Hasan
Ali joined the Joefis Racing team in 2012 as an intern. He was in charge of coordinating online marketing and advertising through social media platforms. When Joefis was forced to go “out of business” because Joe moved to the West coast, we asked Ali if he could help us sell overstock inventory at the shop. Instead of just selling the few products we had, he discovered the high demand for products we offer. It was your support that led us to the decision to re-open the doors of Joefis Racing with a whole new outlook. Ali is now in charge of utilizing social media platforms and forums to sell our handmade, custom products to car enthusiasts everywhere!
When Ali is not networking or work on cars…Actually let’s face it, he is always working on cars or thinking of new opportunities to evolve the auto industry.
Michael “Huggiebutt” Hugger
Hugger is a new face to Joefis Racing, but an old friend of the family. Hugger and Joe grew up together in northeastern PA, working on and racing cars. Together they built out several of Hugger’s racecars, including his Mustang which they used to race in the quarter-mile competitions around PA and NJ.
Hugger started racing autocross in 2016 and is now exclusively racing with the Joefis racing team in Denver. Whenever Hugger is not racing or building engines, you can catch him hiking or snowboarding around the Rockies or heliboarding in Canada.
Mike “Hollywood” Harding
Mike’s love for cars and modifying comes from his father who built multiple pro street cars such as 67-69 Camaro SS, 68 Firebird and a 69 mustang Mach 1. Mike’s first job was at a full service garage and gas station where he learned how to work on cars.
Even though he is not working with cars anymore, he still films cars shows and videos on the side and has taken up SCCA racing with his Miata. Ali introduced Mike to the Joefis family and they’ve been working together ever since.
Mike will be assisting Ali with keeping the Joefis fans and newcomers up-to-date on all the Joefis adventures across the social media channels. He is also one of the resident video photographers who is shooting and cutting our Joefis videos for our YouTube channel.
